White, Green, Champagne, Moon & Red Gold with Aged Silver on Glass

A six panel églomisé glass artwork that stylistically takes its cue from traditional European tapestries and the Art Deco screens of Rateau, Edgar Brandt and Jean Dunand. In addition, in creating the mise en scène for this piece we were inspired by the history and tradition of the early Botanical Gardens created in Holland from the 16th century onwards. A place where connoisseurs and enthusiasts displayed their latest precious acquisitions from across the world, growing exotic lilies, orchids and tulips and displaying also citrus and fruit trees never seen in northern Europe in the open.
