Resin, Metal Powders, Pigments and 22 Carat Moon Gold on Board

This biomophic table created from a core of CNC'd MDF, coated in over 20 layers of resin and polished to a mirror shine appears to be impossibly made from solid stone. We developed a new technique for this project in order to consistantly resin coat three dimensional objects, allowing for an even, durable finish across the whole piece. A 22 Carat Moon Gold slice separates the worksurface from the body.
