22 Carat Yellow Gold and Venitian Plasters on Wall

Created on site for Fairmont in Prague, these free standing pillars and the surrounding walls draw inspiration from their setting, overlooking the Czech city of a thousand golden spires. A textured base of plaster allows the gilded areas to take on three dimensions across the flat surfaces, whilst finer, polished plasters create layers and depth through which the gild can shine.
